Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CLEAN BEST GROUP PTY LTD(“Clean Best”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information. It applies to this website, to enquiries you send us, and to the information we hold about the sites we clean at Eastern Creek NSW 2766 and the surrounding area.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Contact details. Your name, phone number, email address and the address of the site you want cleaned — the fields on our quote form, and whatever you tell us on the phone.
  • Site information. What the premises is, what needs cleaning, your access arrangements, your shift pattern and any site rules or induction requirements we have to meet.
  • Correspondence. The messages you send us and the notes a supervisor makes about your site so that your cleaner does not have to rely on memory.
  • Website usage. Standard technical information such as your browser type and the pages you visited, in aggregate. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell anything about you.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information. Please do not send us health information, government identifiers or payment card numbers through the website form.

How we collect it

  • Directly from you — the quote form, a phone call, an email.
  • From the walkthrough of your site, where a supervisor records what is there and what the scope needs to cover.
  • From your building manager, managing agent or owners corporation, where they are the party engaging us.

Why we hold it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
  • To perform the cleaning: your cleaner needs the address, the access procedure and the scope.
  • To meet your site’s contractor induction and safety requirements, which sometimes means giving your site the names and check details of the operators attending.
  • To invoice you and keep the records the law requires us to keep.
  • To send the monthly audit of your site to the person accountable for it.

We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it, and if we ever do you will be able to stop it in one step.

Who sees it

  • The cleaner assigned to your site and their named supervisor, and nobody else on the roster.
  • Our administrative staff, for quoting, scheduling and invoicing.
  • Service providers who host our systems or deliver the emails our website form generates, under obligations of confidentiality.
  • Your own building manager, agent or owners corporation, where they engaged us or where the scope requires us to report to them.
  • A regulator, insurer or court, where we are legally required or permitted to disclose.

We do not sell personal information, we do not trade it, and we do not give it to a marketing list.

Keys, codes and site access

Access details are personal information of a particularly practical kind, so they are handled with particular care. Keys, swipe cards, lockbox combinations and alarm codes are issued only to the cleaner assigned to your site and to their supervisor. They are returned when either of those people changes, and when the agreement ends. Access procedures are recorded in your site file rather than in anybody’s phone.

How it is stored

Personal information is held in our business systems with access limited to the staff who need it for the purposes above. Information is held in Australia or with providers who store it under equivalent protection. We keep it for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for, and for as long as the law requires us to keep the record, after which it is destroyed or de-identified.

No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.

Cookies and this website

This website uses only what is necessary to serve the pages you have asked for. It does not run advertising trackers and does not follow you across other websites. Your browser can block or clear cookies, and the site will still work.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Write to hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au or call 1300 494 983 and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, tell us first and we will try to fix it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version appears here with a new date at the top. This version is dated 13 July 2026.
